How to choose the right text?

After placing your ketubah order, please complete the order form and send me your text in a Word document

(or any other editable format).

You may choose to include up to two languages

in your ketubah.

When selecting the text, I always recommend consulting with your rabbi, cantor, or officiant to make sure it fits perfectly with your ceremony. This way, you can feel confident that the wording reflects both your personal values and the traditions you want to honor on your wedding day.

Can we choose our own text?

Absolutely! Today, many couples prefer to personalize their ketubah by selecting a text that feels most meaningful to them. There are hundreds of ketubah texts available - ranging from traditional to modern, interfaith, same-sex weddings, and even vow-style formats.

On my website, you’ll find a curated selection of texts to explore, making it easier to find the one that resonates with your relationship. While I don’t provide custom text writing, I do offer translation services from English to Hebrew for an additional fee. This way, you can be sure your chosen text is both meaningful and

ready for your ceremony.

Fonts

Choosing the right font for your ketubah can make all the difference - it sets the tone and feeling of your text.

Some fonts feel classic and traditional, while others bring a modern or romantic touch.

I’ve put together a selection of beautiful fonts for you to choose from, so you can find the one that feels most like you. Take a moment to look through the list and think about which style speaks to your personality and wedding vibe. Once you’ve found your favorite, simply note your choice in the order form you’ll be filling out.

Handwritten Calligraphy

For couples who want a truly traditional touch, there is an option to have your ketubah text written

entirely by hand.

I collaborate with a highly talented ketubah calligrapher who beautifully inscribes the text, while I create the design and artwork.

You don’t need to do anything extra - the process is seamless, and the result is a one-of-a-kind piece that combines fine art with the timeless beauty of handwritten calligraphy.

Please note: I need to know in advance if you’d like this option, at least 8 weeks before your wedding, so I can arrange everything on time.

What is a  Ketubah?

The ketubah is often considered the oldest form of a marriage contract, deeply rooted in Jewish wedding tradition. Traditionally, the couple signs the ketubah just before standing under the chuppah and exchanging vows. While the wording may vary across different communities and customs, the heart of the ketubah remains the same: devotion, unity, and the sacred promises that bind two people together.

Signed by the couple and their witnesses, it becomes both a spiritual covenant and a cherished record of their marriage.

Today, many couples choose a ketubah that is also a piece of art - something personal and meaningful that reflects their love story. Displayed in the home, it serves as a daily reminder of the values of love, partnership, and commitment.

In my collection, you’ll find both handmade ketubot and fine art prints. Each handmade ketubah is lovingly created in Israel, with embroidery and artistic details that make it one-of-a-kind. For couples looking for a quicker option, fine art prints offer the same beauty and meaning in a more accessible way. Whether handmade or printed, every ketubah is designed to honor tradition while reflecting the couple’s unique journey and love.
